Your child's development

Our aim is to prepare the children not only for school but also for life.  We value highly good manners and polite, appropriate behaviour.  When they leave us the children have good social skills, they are independent and can cope confidently with school life.

The children learn about respect, thoughtfulness in a safe, caring environment.

Each child has a:

  • 'key person' a member of staff monitoring progress and liaising with the parents regularly.

  • Learning Journal recording progress and achievements which is available for the child's parents to see.

Every term:

  • Nursery 'open days' offer parents the opportunity to meet with staff and review the term's achievements .

"Children are making good progress from their individual starting points" and "children are accurately assessed with their learning."
